Wednesday Wedding Feature - Wedding Photo Calendar

In lieu of the New Year, I thought I would feature a product that a lot of people buy come January, a photo calendar. Lots of people head out to the stores to pick up a calendar and a lot of the times they don't really even pay attention to what's on it. Why get a calendar that you are going to have to look at for 365 days and see random images? Why not make it special to you and make a photo calendar of your wedding pictures? PhotoWorks offers a variety of photo calendars. You can choose from different sizes, styles and themes.

Maybe you aren't one of those people who likes staring at pictures of yourself. Try something different with your photo calendar. Make your own scenic photo calendar with pictures from your honeymoon.

The year after I got married I made 2 photo calendars. One had a variety of pictures of my husband and I with our friends and family the day of our wedding. The other had beautiful pictures I took of Jamaica on our honeymoon. We put one upstairs in our office, the photo calendar with the scenic pictures (reminding ourselves why we work) and the other one downstairs. It was nice to see those pictures around our house and they really were a conversation piece when people came over. So try something new this year and make a wedding photo calendar you can enjoy year round.

Wednesday Wedding Feature - Engagement Ecards & Cards

For today’s Wednesday Wedding Feature I started out looking at a wedding engagement ecard from American Greetings. I thought that this was pretty cute.

This is so true, you get engaged and it is so exciting.

Until...

you realize you have to start planning.

This card was brought to you by American Greetings, but as you can see in the corner it was sponsored by Paper Bride. Paper Bride offers wedding thank you cards, notecards and stationery for the hippest bride-to-be. Here is one of the wedding engagement cards that they offer on site, Bling Bling.

Wednesday Wedding Feature - Wedding Candy Bar Wrappers

So I am a huge fan of giving away favors that are useful at a wedding. Nothing that will go into my junk drawer, or sit on my night stand and smell pretty for a week, then I just forget to throw it away 5 years later. My favorite things to give away are edible favors. I think that you are giving your guests something useful. Well, at least they enjoy it for the brief period they are eating it, but still they are enjoying it.

There are many ideas for edible favors, and I am sure I will cover many of them on this blog, but one of the easiest edible favors to give away is candy bars. I mean really, they are already made for you. However, though they are easy, giving out a candy bars as-is isn't the prettiest favor. So to show guests that you put a little more thought and effort into it, try creating your own wedding candy bar wrappers. This is another easy thing to do. With candy bar wrappers you can customize them to say whatever you want and can even add your photo to them.

The wedding candy bar wrapper featured to the right has the "Sweet Couple" design, but all of the candy bar wrappers can be personalized to your liking.

Wednesday Wedding Feature - Online Wedding Invitations

There are many people who don’t like the big hub-bub of weddings. For those types of people, sending out online wedding invitations could be a great idea. There are many different styles, but I really liked this one from American Greetings. I thought the colors fit perfect with the tiffany blue wedding themes.

Online Wedding Invitations - American Greetings

Personally, I can't imagine not loving or having the big production of a wedding, but that's just me. Even so, those who have a big wedding could still use online wedding invitations. They are a great way to send follow-ups to those who did not send in their RSVP's.

Wednesday Wedding Feature - Wedding CD/DVD Label

For today's Wedding Wednesday Feature, I have chosen a wedding CD/DVD label. Here are a few ways that you can use this printable option for your wedding.

Favors - Many wedding couples go back and forth as to what they are going to give away as favors at their wedding. I will say that I am not a huge fan of potpourri or flowery smelling candles. I think as the wedding couple you want to give something that is not only reflective of you and your new spouse, but also something that guests can use. So why not a burned CD with the wedding couple's favorite songs and a personalized wedding CD label? It is something that is personal, but more importantly it is something that might just be spared from the trash. (Where some wedding favors go to die.)

Your Wedding Video - There are always those who contemplate whether or not to get a videographer. Now this is a very important topic, but it will have to wait for another post. However, a great way to dress up your wedding DVD is with a wedding DVD label. Personalize it with your names and wedding date. Get a clear but secure case for it, and display it for everyone to see!

Wednesday Wedding Feature - Wedding Ecards

Hello again. Just thought I would let everyone know that there will be a new section of the Wedding Woo blog. Wednesday Wedding Feature will give me a chance to review, highlight and give my opinion on wedding gifts , wedding favors, wedding cards and many more wedding products every Wednesday.

Today I have found a really sweet wedding ecard. I just had to bring this one up first because I thought it would be a great way for me to tell you more about myself and for you to get to know me. So, I chose this wedding ecard because it made my eyes well up a bit. Yes, I am that girl. I am the one that is crying during holiday commercials, catching my breathe in the back of the movie theater (my husband even had to switch rows during Pearl Harbor) and of course the one with the pack of tissues at a wedding. So this wedding card does it for me, maybe you too.
